The art plays out as dark comedy. A fish market becomes a crime scene where the mermaid holds a head in her hands and studies it like fresh produce. She rules from a throne of fish, tentacles, and market workers at the base. The mermaid gives them the worst shift of their lives, and one of them gets his last.
