The last part of our story about Grafit's internal R&D project is related to the references we used.
We spent some time on creative exploration, trying to figure out how the locations in the game should look. At some point, the team tried to make something like a puppet theatre with cardboard clouds. Later we decided to create different biomes and use a cartoonish style.
Here are a couple of concepts, as well as close to the final location we created for our small internal demo. Please tell us what you think and stay tuned for further updates.
