Let us tell you a little bit more about one of our internal R&D projects we've been working on for the last two years.
Our biggest sources of inspiration were Rayman franchise and Oddmar mobile game. When the team understood we didn't want to stay in the simple platformer genre, we looked at famous Metroidvania titles like Hollow Knight and Blasphemous to find new ideas. There are a lot of great mechanics in these games which pushed the creative process further.
