Internal project combining Eastern philosophy and mood, created by our artist Leo. Read the story behind these pictures below.
The junction area lies on a small island in nothingness, a boundary where yin and yang meet, where heaven and earth are briefly connected.
Here, countless aviaries stand, and carrier pigeons travel between worlds, conveying messages between the living and the dead — between those who remember and those who have been forgotten.
A nameless maid lives there. The junction is both her home and her prison.
She does not know where she came from, where she is going, or why she remains. She only knows how to care for the pigeons.
Each pigeon carries a bond. When one fulfills its mission, it means the deceased has been forgotten — or chosen to be forgotten — by those who remain.
Again and again, those bonds are severed.
This is what hurts the maid most.
The pigeons are her only connection to the outside world, and through them she listens, waits, and tells her own silent distress — until the day someone finally appears.
We’d love to hear how this world speaks to you — feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
